Winter's Bone

After an amazing summer season and a decidedly long fall season at AFT I helped out with the MHHS musical, Singin' In The Rain (which I get to see on Saturday). I will be heading back up to Door County for the remainder of the year performing David Sedaris's Santaland Diaries at Third Avenue Playhouse. It will be a time of first's. My first one-man show, my first winter (OK, a month or so) in Door County, and really the first extended time of me living alone. How exciting! I also must mention that I performed my first marriage ceremony for my friends Amber and Keegan. It was just splendid. I hope some day to do more.

And no, I have not seen Winter's Bone.

Finally WI.

After a very successful three months in NYC (writing, filming, sword fighting, teaching, dog walking), I am back in the great state of Wisconsin! Yeah! Beer! Cheese! Brats! Door County!!!

Our season at American Folklore Theater is starting off very well, especially our new show Victory Farm. Also, I got a job at Sweetie Pies! Not only do I get to play a baker and eat pie on stage, I get to be a real baker and make the pie myself!

It's gonna be a goooood summer...

I've hit the big apple!

Spent the weekend with Sam and Nate organizing sketches, brainstorming ideas, cleaning, and settling into the apartment. We've got some good stuff brewin' and we'll start filming some things next weekend.

As for this week my days are free, so I'll be meeting up with friends, scouting locations and costumes, and working with the guys at night.

Today I'm heading down around union square for some thrift shopping and maybe a casual dinner with my buddy Joe. Now I have only to choose what to eat in the city of a million restaurant...
