Dublin, Baby! Yeah!

Went to Ireland last weekend with Rochelle and it was awesome! The Guinness storehouse is the best brewery tour ever! And now that I have had a pint straight from vat I can die happy. It's unexplainable. On Saturday we went to the Cliffs of Moher (aka the CLIFFS OF INSANITY!!!) We totally lucked out on the weather because it was beautiful and the cliffs were beyond awesome!

  1. Hello, Dan . . .

I'm about through with a final editing of the book on AFT's 20-year history that will come out at Raise the Curtain in May. I've thought about you as I come across your name, and we've enjoyed following your accounts of your experiences in England and your travels.

We've been to Ireland twice, very meaningful trips for me, as all my ancestors came from there. On our last three-week trip, we drove 4,000 miles. Found the estate in northwest County Donegal where my fifth great-grandmother, Margaret Lynn Lewis, was born in the late 1600s and the crossroads in County Fermanagh from which my great-grandfather, James Kennedy (other side of the family), set out for America in the 1860s. Dublin is the place I love most, right after Door County and Savannah, Georgia.

Jeff and Charles were dinner guests while we were visiting a grand-daughter and her husband in Fort Worth in early December. Fun to hear about the 2010 season, Life on the Mississippi, Cheeseheads, Bone Dance and Guys and Does. We were so impressed with your performance in Cheeseheads -- shades of an early Doug!

What are your plans for this summer?

    Best wishes,

    Patty and Howard Williamson
