Work hard, play hard.

Yesterday we filmed our club/knife fights and then watched them while being critiqued. It certainly was not the best day for most people. Lots of foul ups, but this made for lots of good learning. My fight went pretty darn great comparatively. Our technique was basically all there. We had one little flubby spot, but we pushed through just fine and they thought I did a fairly good job of taking the note about being more aggressive and less funny. Plus our scene was short and to the point.

Today was our first day off. I slept in, did my laundry, then Amanda and I went downtown to check out Pike Place Market. It turned out to be a beautiful day. I really wanted to find this pie shop I had seen on a food network special, but it was alluding us. We finally asked for help at this great coffee shop called Seattle Coffee Works. My breve was great and we made our 20 min trek up hill to High Five Pie. I had an exquisite piece of Marion berry pie with snicker doodle ice cream. We had almost gotten back to the car when we ran into some other stunt people, so we tagged along with them and got a beer after some group planking/owling pictures.

When we got back, everybody went to the Bowl & Skate and did some serious skating for a couple of hours.

Crash. Head in pillow. Stair falls and mini tramp tomorrow. :)
